Summary NexEvent.tech uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and personalize content. This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can control them. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

🍪 1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, login status, and browsing behavior. Cookies are processed by your browser and sent back to the originating website with each subsequent visit.

Similar technologies include:

  • Local Storage: Browser-side storage we use for offline caching of site data to improve load speed.
  • Session Storage: Temporary storage cleared when you close your browser tab.
  • Pixel Tags / Web Beacons: Tiny images used in emails to track open rates.
  • Firebase SDK: Client-side Firebase tokens stored in IndexedDB for authentication persistence.

🎯 2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: To keep you logged in to your client portal securely.
  • Preferences: To remember your settings such as language and display preferences.
  • Performance: To cache frequently used data locally for faster page loads.
  • Analytics: To understand how visitors interact with our website and improve user experience.
  • Security: To detect fraudulent requests and protect your account.

🗂️ 3. Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize our cookies into four types:

  • Essential
Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled. Examples: login session tokens, CSRF protection tokens.
  • Functional
Enhance functionality by remembering your preferences. Examples: language settings, cached Firestore data.
  • Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use our site. Examples: Google Analytics page view tracking.
  • Marketing
Used to deliver relevant content. We currently use minimal marketing cookies.

  • Google Fonts: Font delivery may log request data — Google Fonts Privacy

We do not control these third-party cookies. Please review each provider's privacy policy for details.

⚙️ 6. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

Browser Settings

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
⚠️ Important Note Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to our client portal and may break core site functionality. Analytics and functional cookies can be safely disabled without affecting your ability to use the site.

Opt-Out of Google Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Clear Local Storage

To clear our cached data from your browser, open Developer Tools (F12) → Application → Local Storage → right-click our domain → Clear. This forces fresh data to load from our servers.

🚫 7. Do Not Track

Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We currently do not alter our data collection practices based on DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted DNT standard. However, you can use the opt-out methods described above to limit tracking.

📝 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or relevant regulations. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
